What does being a SIG member involve?
Contributing to discussion and development of the SIG based on your research and/or practice experience
Respecting all contributions to the group and maintaining a professional approach to the development of theory and practice.
Postings on the SIG group should only relate to the topic of the SIG.
Membership of PARS SIGs is free to practitioners and academics from any discipline - there is no need to take part in a PARS programme to join.
INTERGENERATIONAL PLAYWORK
The aim of this Intergenerational Playwork SIG is to develop and disseminate research into the links between Intergenerational initiatives and playwork theory. The SIG is open to researchers and practitioners from any discipline interested in researching or theorising about Intergenerational Playwork to support the development of theory and practice. Anyone interested in the Intergenerational Playwork theory and practice is also welcome to join.
The Intergenerational SIG is led by Professor Jennifer Cartmel from Griffith University, Australia.
ICCP
(International Council for Children's Play)
ICCP is a leading international research organisation for children's play, established in 1959. The aim of this SIG is to connect researchers from who are studying play from any discipline and to support and disseminate play research around the world.
