Established in 1959, ICCP is a leading international research organisation for children's play.
ICCP was founded at a conference organised by "Spiel Gut", a German national organisation concerned with the quality of children's toys. Since then, regular conferences have been held with the aim of furthering research into children's play and toys.

ICCP is run on a completely voluntary basis. Our Board and Working Group members are all volunteers and ICCP receives no funding or membership fees.

Conference Working Group
The ICCP Conference Working Group is co-chaired by Maria Øksnes and Brian Stone. The role of the Conference Working Group is to support our host university to deliver the next ICCP Conference.
