Meet your trainer
Heather Boomhower
Heather is the PARS Training Manager for Child's Play Canada and is a PPP4 qualified PARS Licensed Trainer. She has been practicing PARS for almost 3 years now, and loves it!
How PPP1 works
Teaching
PPP1 includes three sessions (1.5 hours each) of live teaching with a PPP4 qualified PARS Licensed Trainer and handouts.
Practice
During the PPP1 course you will be asked to reflect on what you have learnt about the PARS model whilst supervising children in their leisure time. You will not be assessed in your workplace.
Assessment
PPP1 is not an assessed course. On completion of all sessions, you will receive a digital certificate of attendance from Common Threads.
